He trained at Baylor College of Medicine, spent several years in Denver before taking the Houston Methodist chair role, and is double board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and sleep medicine. His clinical and research focus includes minimally invasive sinus procedures, sleep apnea surgery, endoscopic skull-base surgery, and chronic rhinosinusitis.
